Every person we worked with that day was so kind and seemed so happy to be there. Very cool. The whole festival is non-profit and the positive vibe is very apparent. Tesla was great to work with too and to all of you that were cheering for us...Thank You!!! It was our second time to Rockford, supporting the Goo Go o Dolls was our first and we will be back again! 8/18 - Kid Rock last night! We are currently working on some dates with Kid Rock and will be flying out to Illinois next month for a huge outdoor festival called "On the Waterfront". Cheers. 6/4 - Last weekend we were on a boat on Lake of the Ozarks playing with Sister Hazel thanks to Budweiser and Mix 92.7! It was a great time. Had a chance to meet up with Nadine Condon the Music Guru of San Fran. What a great soul she is! Also met up with Alex Oana who produced and mixed the title track off "Everyone". He is know residing in the area and after visiting I can see why. NOTE: This week The Fireflies will appear on KELO (CH3) Saturday morning. KELO will be airing a nice piece Kirby Schultz put together from our Kennedy Center performance. Also on March 27th SDPB (CH8) will air our entire perfomance from Las Vegas courtesy of VH1. PLEASE tune in and let the stations know you appreciate them supp orting the Fireflies. 2/3 - Great trip to D.C. The Kennedy Center couldn't have gone better. Great people, great energy and a great venue. S.D. Senator Tom Daschle introduced us and we had dinner with him and his family after the show. It was a very spe cial evening. We flew back home Thursday and traveled to Okoboji for Winter Games on Friday. Temp was somewhere around -15. The fans were warm though and it's always nice to play in Okoboji. Even when it's winter! Saturday we traveled up to the Red Carpet in St. Cloud to wrap up the weekend. Good times. Thanks to all of you who watched the Kennedy Center Live. A lot of great shows and the theater tour with the Goo Goo Dolls was amazing. Then, thanks to Budweiser and all of our fans who voted, we won the opportunity to play the "Summers' End Concert" in Las Vegas with The Donnas and Goo Goo Dolls. Budweiser True Music and VH1 threw the party. Our entire show was filmed by VH1 and highlights of our performance appeared on VH1 everytime the concert was aired. Stay tuned...
